The HPLC Waste Disposal Container was developed to keep your workplace healthier, more convenient, and safer. It is ideal for containing flammable waste. Through an activated carbon filter, it purifies 99% of released particles, minimizing odor and, most importantly, human exposure to released gases. Suitable for any HPLC pump. Each container can have one, two, or three inlets (for connecting to the HPLC hose) and one outlet (for the activated carbon filter). All of these connections are provided by a quick-connect system for easy connection and release. It is made of white polyethylene, has a 100 mm diameter nozzle and a stainless steel operating handle. Its operating mechanism, nozzle, handle, and quick-connect system are entirely stainless steel, which offers better chemical compatibility and durability. The nozzle is designed to release excess pressure and opens automatically between 3 and 5 psi of pressure. It features a quick-connect system, making it convenient for connection and movement, as there's no need to disconnect the HPLC tubing from the container. Once in use, the activated carbon filter will have an average shelf life of 6 months and can be easily replaced using the quick-connect system.

Application:

In the storage, transfer and disposal of flammable and corrosive liquids, in laboratories and HPLC equipment, etc.

Compatibility of flammable and corrosive liquids in general.

Compatible with citric, formic, nitric acid (10 to 20% solution), phosphoric acid up to 40%, sulfuric acid between 70% and 100%, also recommended for chlorotic, hydrochloric, nitric acid (solution above 50% concentrated).

Mode of operation:

During filling and transfer, the operator opens the lid by activating the spring through the handle and engages it in the rest link (open position) at the base of the container. To connect or disconnect the HPLC hoses attached to the quick-connect coupling, simply lower the quick-connect coupling ring to detach the container, which must then be taken to the area where the liquid contained within will be disposed of.
It has an activated carbon filter to neutralize the odor of the vapors from the HPLC waste liquid, and also to keep the PATM (neutral) inside the container, thus providing a better drainage flow of the equipment.
