Drip Container Specification

Tekin's flammable liquid containers are designed for use wherever a container or drum with a tap is located and frequently leaks. They retain droplets from the tap, preventing a potential fire thanks to a flame-retardant screen on the surface of the container, which is designed to support containers being filled.

Technical Description:

Safety container model TK 01 made of AISI 304 stainless steel and/or SAE 1010/20 carbon steel with measurements as per the table below.

Application:

Used in locations that require containment for containers or drums with taps and that frequently experience leaks (dripping). It retains droplets from the tap, preventing a potential fire. It has a flame-retardant screen over its entire surface and reinforcement to support containers and cans to be filled.

Stainless steel is not compatible with products such as: sulfuric acid.

Mode of operation:

Position the drip container in the direction of the valve (tap) that will be activated to pour the liquid into a container, which will contain any splashes.

• Wide base with 8-liter containment capacity;
