T5 Safety Containers – for Laboratory

This model features a self-closing valve for convenient and controlled disposal of hazardous liquids. Its filling nozzle has a self-closing cap. It's specifically approved for use on countertops, raised shelves, or laboratories. It features a valve at the bottom, fully connected to a built-in vacuum relief valve, allowing the liquid to flow. This model is specifically designed for strategic placement for filling smaller containers in graduated dosages. Supplied with a safety valve and self-closing valve in aluminum, bronze, or 316L stainless steel.

Technical Description:

Safety and explosion-proof container model T5, capacity as per the table below. Made of AISI 304 stainless steel, with a bronze metering valve. For valves in other materials, including 316L stainless steel, please consult our sales department.

Application:

In the storage, transportation, use and transfer of flammable and/or combustible liquids.

Compatibility of flammable liquids:

Compatible with: ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, ammonium hydroxide, chloroform, ethyl acetate, ether, diesel fuel, gasoline, glycerin, hexyl hydraulic oils, kerosene, lubricants, naphtha, and fuel oil.

NOTE: the nozzle seal can be corroded by products such as: chlorine forme and heptane.

Stainless steel is not compatible with products such as: sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, etc.

Mode of operation:

When filling, the operator opens the lid by manually activating the trigger and the upper handle lever. When discharging and transferring, the operator activates the quick-seal dosing safety valve with just the touch of his hand. If desired, we also have a flexible stainless steel hose, which helps centralize the liquid in containers with a smaller nozzle, as an option (cod 23000).
