This 3/4" plug-type pressure relief valve is made of galvanized carbon steel and is compatible with 50/100/200L drums. It features a ¾" BSP threaded cap, which acts as a pressure relief and anti-vacuum valve. All flammable liquids release gases, especially when exposed to higher temperatures, resulting in a risk of explosion. Therefore, using this valve, full drums can be stored safely, thanks to a system of holes that allow gases to escape and air to enter for vapor evacuation. There is also a thermomechanical O-ring that ruptures in the event of overheating, allowing these vapors to escape.

Application: Used for internal pressure relief and/or anti-vacuum in 50, 100 and 200 liter drums for storing flammable and combustible liquids, preferably for vertical drums. If your drum is in a horizontal position, also consult the 2000 series valve, ¾” code 10198 and/or 2” code 10199.

Operating method: Screw onto the 3/4' nozzle of the drum and for it to work as an anti-vacuum, simply turn it half a turn counterclockwise to open it manually.
